*****Only 15 spaces available! Book now! *****

To commemorate the 100 year anniversary since the end of the  Great War, we have asked Mark Smith to come back and give us an amazing insight into the history of London and its involvement in the First and Second World Wars. Mark has previously been our guides on our successful Jack the Ripper tour and Nuclear bunker experiences.

The walking tour will begin outside Spink & Son auction house on Southampton Row, before heading off to see and hear about some of the historic sites of a war-torn London, discuss some of the more famous landmarks and a few hidden gems too. Lasting approximately 90 minutes, after being immersed in some the rich history the capital has to offer, those interested can join us as we sample the culinary delights the local pub has to offer!

For those unfamiliar with Mark Smith, he is a military museum curator and a specialist in military medals. a well-known expert on the Victoria Cross. Mark has amassed a very large private collection of medals and Militaria. Mark has made many notable appearances on Antiques Roadshow as an expert valuing many collections including a toy panda mascot that flew on the famous “Dambusters Raid” in 1943.
