Overview

Essex Cornerstone Club Masonic centre representatives (centre reps) will be posted within each masonic centre across the Province. The role of these centre reps is to build a relationship with each Lodge who meets at their centres in order to fully inform them on the purpose/aims of the Club and support those Lodges who have members who are under 40 years of age.

Aim

There are still a number of Lodges and individuals who are unaware or are unsure of the Club and its aims. This role is key in increasing club awareness and membership as well as playing a part in retention across the entire Province.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying Lodges/units who meet at their centre(s).
  • Connect with Lodge secretaries via an introduction.
  • Join any meeting to welcome under 40s who are initiated, passed and/or raised.
    • Explain the club purpose/aims
    • Events upcoming
    • Fee for joining and membership pack (tie/pin)
    • Point towards website, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook
    • Essex Cornerstone Lodge introduction
  • If a meeting cannot be attended then a welcome telephone call for new initiates.
    • Explain the club purpose/aims
    • Events upcoming
    • Fee for joining and membership pack (tie/pin)
    • Point towards website, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook
    • Essex Cornerstone Lodge introduction
  • Distribute and maintain Club promotional flyers at the centre.
  • Escalate any issues to Club Committee for resolution.
